DIRECTORATE: FINANCE AND PROCUREMENT

The purpose of the Directorate is to manage the procurement of goods/ services /supplies, financial services (payment of suppliers and salaries and related allowances of National Directorates/offices), Stores and Asset Management of the Ministry as a whole.  To provide financial advisory services to the Ministry at both National, Regional, districts and referral including all health facilities country wide. To ensure compliance of the Ministry to the State Finance Act, Public Procurement Act and the relevant regulations and financial policies and directives. In addition is to develop relevant policies and guidelines to ensure efficient and effective utilization of resources.  Advice all Ministry‚Äôs internal stakeholders on financial policies as well as giving required support in implementing health delivery services.
