This is a 3 year Diploma program registered with the Health Professional Council of Namibia (HPCNA). Entry requirements require an application to be a Namibian Citizen, a Grade 12 Certificate with at least 24 points in 5 subjects including Biology/Physical Science/Math with a D in or higher in English.
The three-year national training course is offered at health training centres in Keetmanshoop, Rundu and Windhoek. As part of the Programme, every centre will register 90 students per year to be trained in General Nursing and Midwifery. The students will receive free accommodation, transport, uniforms, training material, and an unspecified stipend every month.
